Family Sessions
Family Photography in South Devon
A family photography session is aimed at families with a child older than 14 months old, and they are great for families with more than one child. Your family photography session can take place in my Exeter studio, or in a woodland or beach, my favourites are Haldon Forest, Exeter, The Ness Cove, Shaldon or Elbery Cove, Paignton.
Sessions will focus on a mix of your children and the whole family, I will aim to get natural, relaxed interaction between you all as well as some more posed style portraits. I wont rush you, if your children need some time to warm up then this isn’t a problem, we always get there in the end! Wherever we are, and however long it takes, we will create stunning photos that you will want to display on your walls and keep forever as a record of your families growth!
Outdoor sessions take place early in the morning before the parks get busy and the sun gets too strong or late in the afternoon when the sun is setting and they will last for up to 1 hour, studio sessions can be planned around naps/routines. I rarely have weekend slots, so if your children are school age then it’s best to plan your session during a school holiday.

IN DEPTH
The Session
I encourage families to enjoy & be themselves in front of the camera. I will give advice and a Pintrest board of outfits to make sure you look the part for your photos.

Your session will last on average about 1 hour depending on the children and I aim to capture around 20-30 photos for you to choose from. Up to 6 people in total. Extra people will be £20pp.

After your session I will professionally edit your images and then around 2 weeks later you will return to view them and choose which ones you would like to purchase.
​
Family photo sessions can take place in my Exeter studio, or at a location of choice in South Devon if the weather is suitable.

A Family photo session is £50 which is payable at the time of booking.
Photo packages are purchased separately and start at £250.
