Cake Smash sessions are for babies who are 11 months old; This is so your photos can be ready for their first birthday!
This session is a favourite of mine. The silliness, the mess & the cuteness is something you don't want to miss.

We start with some lovely birthday portraits before getting stuck into the cake! Don't forget some wet wipes for the clean up!
​
I have a lovely array of backdrop themes and colours to choose from, and provide outfits to match the backdrops, you are also welcome to bring something you love them in too.
Sessions happen on weekdays only, we can include photos with Parents and Grandparents If you would like.
​
A typical session will last on average around 1hr, but I will keep going until your baby has had enough. We will aim to capture a variety of outfits, positions and expressions as well as family photos.

The Session
We start with some classic portraits of your baby before introducing the cake.

Your session will last around 1 hour depending on the baby/child and I aim to capture around 20-25 photos for you to choose from.
​
After your session I will professionally edit your images and then around one - two weeks later you will return to view them and choose which ones you would like to purchase.
​
Cake Smash photo sessions will take place in my Exeter studio.

A Cake Smash photo session is £250 which is payable at the time of booking.
You will receive 20 digital images via digital download.

When is the best time to book a cake smash shoot?
It's up to you when you choose to have your cake smash shoot. I usually ask for around 3-4 weeks notice so I have enough time to source everything that's needed.
Do I need to supply anything?
No, I supply everything you need.
Your cake will be made by a professional cake baker and we will work together to find an outfit that suits your chosen colour theme.
Can I have any of my images framed?
Yes, absolutely.
I have a large variety of wall art options available to you.
Do you supply any balloons or special themed backdrops?
My cake smash shoots are completely plain, just a coloured backdrop, the cake and your baby.
This way the focus is entirely on your baby and the cake smash.
Your photos will also be timeless and will look good printed anywhere in your home!
Can sibling and parent photos be included?
The cake smash shoot is for your one year old only.
